VAFI hosts 5 Iranian animation films

8th International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival Varaždin (VAFI) in Croatia will screen 5 Iranian animation films.

8th International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival Varaždin (VAFI) in Croatia kicked off on May 30, 2017.

Five Iranian animation films will be screened in this year's festival. These Iranian animation films which will be screened at VAFI are Souzanban (Switchman) directed by Mehdi Khorramian, Derakht-e-Porteghal (Orange tree) directed by Amir Houshang Moin, Safhe Khali (Blank Page) directed by Siavash Khodai, Parvanegi (The Butterfly) directed by Ali Azizi and Rumor directed by Leila Norouzi.

37 countries with 206 films have participated in VAFI 8. According to the decision that the selectors Ida Loher and Martin Babić have made just 122 films will be shown on 6 official projections during the festival.
